Just wanted you guys to know about http://www.supasoul.net/.

SupaSoul is run by a friend of mine called "Fonkjooze" and it contains several quality mix tapes mixed by the guys behind the highly successful concept "Rett i Sjela!", which is the best soulful concept in Oslo or Norway for that matter as far as I know! There's also a handful of guest-mixes, mostly high quality music all the way!

There's track lists for all the tapes and even though the activity level haven't been that high recently there's plenty to good stuff to choose between. With that being said I can tell you that I've heard some rumors about a new mix by Fonkjooze being just around the corner

If you're up to no good or just like likable house music it's definitely worth a visit

I'm sorry to tell, but Fonkjooze decided to take the site offline this spring due to hosting costs... He's just a student and couldn't really afford keeping the site online. Too bad, because there where some quality tapes there... As far as I remembered each mix had been downloaded over 500 times so there's always a chance some of the mixes has found there way to torrent sites, soulseek, direct connect or similar p2p protocols.

damn, that's so sad. the site was good. I can tell he loved the music, did quality sets with good selections and it was one more of these few good sites dedicated to real house.

shame that happened. hope he eventually gets a way to deal with the expenses to bring it back in coming future.
